The area of tension between Israeli and Jordan forces has shifted to the region between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Akaba where the Israel Army is now holding maneuvers in full view of the Jordan frontier posts, the London Daily Express reports.

The same newspaper reported from Jerusalem that a British shipbuilding yard has been given a contract to build ten fishing trawlers for Israel. From Amman, the Express reported that Britain will spend 3,000,000 pounds to make the Amman airport one of the largest in the Middle East.
