Mass Arrests of Jews Reportedly Renewed in Rumania, Hungary

A large number of Jews have been arrested during the last few days in several Rumanian cities, including Bucharest, Brasov, Cluj and Galatz, according to unconfirmed reports reaching here today. They were removed from their homes to unknown destinations, the reports stated.

The same reports said that Jews were also seized this week in Czechoslovakia and Hungary. The majority of them were employed in government offices, the information received here indicated.
