David Niles, Trusted Aide of Two Presidents, Dies at 63

Funeral services will be held here tomorrow morning for David K. Niles, executive assistant to Presidents Roosevelt and Truman, who died here this week-end at the age of 63. The son of Russian immigrants to the U.S., Mr. Niles went to Washington in 1932 shortly after President Roosevelt’s election and remained a trusted assistant to both Presidents until his death. (From Jerusalem, Israel Ambassador Abba S. Eban today cabled condolences to the sister of David Niles.)
