The Israel Cabinet last night decided to restrict the raising of pigs in this country and appointed a three-man Ministerial committee to write regulations to carry out its purpose.

The committee will draft instructions to government agencies not to aid pig farmers and will order the army to cease its sale of swill from army camps to hog raisers. Explaining the Cabinet’s decision to newsmen, a government spokesman said that “hog raising has aroused indignation and dissatisfaction in man7 circles in Israel and abroad.” The motives behind these feelings are understood by the Cabinet, he spokesman added.
