Thomas Harlan, son of the notorious Nazi film producer Veit Harlan, left Israel Sunday after spending three weeks in the country, Israeli officials revealed today. The officials said that Mr. Harlan was incognito and that they did not know of his presence in the country until after he left.

The announcement said that Mr. Harlan, who introduced himself as Thomas Isitizah of the Madeleine film studios of Paris, had been preparing for the shooting of a documentary film about Israel. He and a collaborator visited various parts of the country making test shots and preparing the way for a film company with which he plans to return to Israel later.
