Prominent writers, actors and leaders in various walks of Jewish life were among the hundreds who today attended funeral services for Mani Leib Brahinsky, outstanding Jewish poet, who died Sunday at the age of 70. The services were held in the ball of the Jewish Daily Forward, largest Jewish daily newspaper, of whose staff Brahinsky–known under the pen name of Mani Leib–was a member for many years.

Eulogies were delivered by the well-known writers Joseph Apatosho, Samuel Niger, Jacob Pat, Dr. L. Fogelman, Itzik Manger and others. Numerous messages of condolence were received by the family from Jewish cultural groups in many countries. He was buried at the New Carmel cemetery of the Workmen’s Circle, largest Jewish fraternal order in the United States.
