Dr. Andre Chouraqui, a member of the Alliance Israelite Universelle, left today for an extensive tour of Africa. He will visit the countries of North African and then cross the Sahara Desert to see the Committees of the Alliance in Central and South Africa.
The aim of Mr. Chouraqui’s trip is to inform the Jewish communities of North, Central and South Africa of the recent extension of the work of the Alliance in the Mediterranean area.
