A recommendation that the United Synagogues of America launch a national leadership recruitment campaign in the inter### individual congregations and the entire Conservative movement, was made### the annual convention of the United Synagogue by Dr. Emil Lehman, assist### tive director. Dr. Lehman also recommended a national educational camp ### “bring home” to the membership of Conservative synagogues the ideology ### of the movement.
The convention today received a message of greeting from President ### in which the President said that the organization could be proud of its dedi### so many of the religious ideals from which America’s democratic principle derived.
