The Histadrut, Israel’s federation of labor, was able to provide some 2,500,000 working days for unemployed workers through a special unemployment fund for which it raised 5,000,000 pounds last year, L. L. Haskin, treasurer of the Histadrut, reported today. He also revealed that the Histadrut executive has approved a plan which will raise 3,400,000 pounds this year.
