The new Yugoslav Minister to Israel, Yvan Vucmanovic, today presented his credentials to Israel President Itzhak BenZvi. The Yugoslav envoy told the President that his government has a “sincere desire to continue the friendly relations between both countries which are rooted in recent history when both states fought against a common enemy in the second World War.”
Replying, President Ben Zvi said; “The common fight against our enemy was rooted in the spiritual semblance of both nations and I hope the friendly relations between the two states continue to flourish.”
