A memorial tablet for the last pre-war rabbi of this ancient community, Dr. Isidor Caro, has been unveiled on the local Jewish cemetery in the presence of his widow, who journeyed here from the United States. Dr. Caro had been deported from Cologne by the Nazis and perished in a concentration camp.
