A publishing venture to print pocket books on Jewish subjects will be launched this month by the World Jewish Congress, the WJC announced today.

The venture, to be known as the “Popular Jewish Library,” will range over such fields as philosophy, religion, history, art, sociology and literature–all written by acknowledged authorities in their own fields. Among the first pocket books to be published will be Edmund Fleg’s “The Land in Which God Dwells.” In all, six titles are scheduled for publication during the first year.
