Canada Criticized for Immigration Policy Probe Suggested

The treatment received by many Europeans seeking permission to emigrate to Canada is “utterly inhuman,” was the charge made by George Drew, Progressive Conservative leader, at a press conference following his return here from a two-month European trip. Mr. Drew called for a Royal Commission investigation of the Immigration Department.
