German judges have been placed on the top restitution tribunal in the British zone of Germany, it became known here today.
Until now, the judges were all British. Now, the British High Commission in Germany has abolished the Board of Review in the Westphalian town of Herford, supplanting it with a newly-created Supreme Restitution Court which will be made up of three Britons and two Germans. The latter will be nominated by the Bonn Government.
