Ernst Otto Remer, leader of the banned neo-Nazi Socialist Reich Party, who fled Germany two years ago after his conviction for having slandered Jews and other anti-Nazi resistance fighters, has surrendered to German authorities.

Herr Remer, onetime Nazi general, appeared yesterday at Oldenburg, in Lower Saxony, and was promptly jailed by the authorities. At one time during his two-year flight, he was reported to be living in Egypt.
