Israel’s eagerness to seek peace throughout the Middle East was stressed here by Mrs. Golda Myerson, Israel Minister of Labor, in a telephone address to meetings held simultaneously in 77 cities in the United States and Canada in behalf of State of Israel Bonds.

Speaking from the headquarters of the Israel Bond Organization, she expressed the hope that Israel and the Arab countries would meet across the conference table, and work out a formula for a friendly settlement of all their differences. She pointed out that a strengthened economy is basic to the development and security of Israel. Participating in the telephone conference with Mrs. Myerson were Rudolf G. Sonneborn, president of the Israel Bond Organization, and Henry Montor, its chief executive officer.
