More Congressional Candidates Oppose U.S. Arming of Arabs

Foster Furcalo, candidate for U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, today added his name along with 13 other candidates who pledged themselves against the present Administration’s policy of arming the Arabs. The American Zionist Committee for Public Affairs reported that the complete Listing now includes 115 candidates. More replies are expected.

The 14 listed today include 12 Democrats and two Republicans. The Republicans are Donald W. Nicholson, Massachusetts, and Edward J. Bonin, Pennsylvania.

The Democrats are Timothy I. O’Reilly, Harlan Hagen, Joseph M. Kennick, William R. Roskam. Harry R. Sheppard, Harriet Enderle and Ross T. McIntire, California; George S. Long, Louisiana; Foster Furcalo and Edward F. Dealan, Massachusetts; Daniel J. Flood, Pennsylvania; and Watkins M. Abbott, Virginia.
