Joseph Cherner, Jewish community leader of Washington, has been appointed to the Board of Overseers of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, it was announced today by Attorney General Nathaniel Goldstein, board chairman. Mr. Cherner has served as national campaign chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, national treasurer of the Bonds for Israel Organization, and national vice-chairman of the Einstein College of Medicine building fund.
