The Jewish Community Council of Greater Washington has adopted a resolution urging the government to review its Near Eastern policy and to suspend military aid to the Arab States until those states declare their readiness “to join, definitely and without ambiguity, in the defense of the free world against Communist aggression.”
The resolution also asked that America “utilize to the fullest extent the defense potential of Israel.” The council voiced grave concern “over the wide-spread propaganda attacks against Israel and their promotion as part of a continuing deliberate attack against the American Jewish community.”
