Dr. Felix E. Shinnar, head of the Israel purchasing mission in Germany, who holds the personal rank of minister, was a guest at the official reception at the residence of the Federal President, Dr. Theodor Huess, when the heads of diplomatic missions here conveyed congratulations and good wishes to the German people during the week-end on the occasion of the New Year.
Dr. Shinnar had been invited to the reception by Archbishop Muench, the Papal Nuncio, the doyen of the diplomatic corps. Earlier he had called on Dr. Konrad Adenauer, the Chancellor, to congratulate him on his 79th birthday.
