The Jewish community of Sweden will begin a national observance of the 750th anniversary of the death of Maimonides, the medieval Jewish philosopher-scientist, under a program sponsored by the Jewish Agency. The Agency will sponsor, among other activities, a month-long tour of Swedish communities by Amsterdam Rabbi Z. B. Benedikt, an expert on the Rambam.
