A mixed team of Israel and Jordan surveyors began today marking the Israel-Jordan border in the Hebron area. An Arab radio broadcast heard here stated that some 4,000 dunams (1,000 acres) of land would be added to Jordan territory as a result of this border demarcation.

A Syrian sailing vessel with four Arabs aboard, was apprehended in Israel territorial waters off Tel Aviv today. The ship was bound from Beirut, Lebanon to Gaza, in Egyptian controlled territory.
