The administrative committee of the Joint Palestine Appeal here has decided to raise an additional 400,000 pounds in the coming year to assist in the stepped-up immigration campaign for North African Jewry. following receipt of an urgent cabled appeal from Dr. Nahum Goldmann and Berl Locker, co-chairmen of the Jewish Agency. Proposals which the administrative committee are now considering include the mounting of a thorough information campaign to acquaint Anglo-Jewry with the situation in North Africa and the magnitude of the problem.
