A resolution calling upon the United States to supply arms and equipment to Israel pending an effective security guarantee was adopted by the American Veterans Committee at its annual convention here.
Governor Theodore McKeldin of Maryland, addressing the Mizrachi Women’s Organization national convention here tonight, called for arms to Israel and an end to the appeasement of the Arab states. “Appeasement of Egypt and other Arab countries,” he said, “is no different than paying blackmailers. You are never through paying and the blackmailer never stays bought.”
