Dr. Abraham Nissan, former Israel Minister to the Scandinavian counties, died yesterday after a prolonged illness. He was 6y8. A physician, Dr. Nissan had served as an executive member of the Jewish, National Council during the British administration of Palestine and was a member of the Provisional State when Israel was established. He was a member of the Israel delegation at the United Nations prior to taking up President Itzhak Ben Zvi and Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett.
