The Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission, in two separate resolutions, condemned both states for an incident last Wednesday in which Jordan anti-aircraft batteries shot and forced down an Israeli plan flying near the border.
The Israelis protested their condemnation, on the grounds that the MAC had not proved that the plane was an army aircraft and therefore should not have been in the area. The plane landed inside Israel and its crew was unhurt.
