The appointment of William Mazer, nationally prominent civic and communal leader, as chairman of the Greater New York Committee for State of Israel Bonds, was announced today by Abraham Feinberg, president of the Israel Bond Organization. Mr. Mazer will direct a citywide campaign to raise $15,000,000 in Israel Bond investment funds throughout the Greater New York area by the end of 1956.
