The B’nai B’rith today wired President Eisenhower that it was “heartened” by the White House statement to Israel’s Premier David Ben Gurion reaffirming America’s bonds of friendship with its Western allies. The telegram, signed by Philip M. Klutznick, president of the organization, said: “We are hopeful that these expressions will constitute a turning point in recent relationships.”
