New York Suburbs Chalk Up Increased Jewish School Attendance

The increase in enrollment in Jewish schools of Greater New York during the 1955-56 school year, reaching a record peak of 132, 016 students, was recorded almost entirely in suburban counties, the Jewish Education Committee of New York reported today.
