An exhibition of Israeli-made arms and ammunition was opened at nearby Rishon L’Zion yesterday by the director general of the Defense Ministry, Shimon Peress. Among the many guests at the exhibition was President Itzhak Ben Zvi.

Mr. Peress revealed that within the last few months investment in the military arms industry in this country had doubled. He disclosed that within the last two weeks that industry had begun to manufacture its own TNT and had developed a “super-bazooka” and many other types of weapons previously imported.
