Col. Josef Avidar, Israeli Ambassador to Soviet Russia returned to Israel today for a visit during which it was assumed he would review with Foreign Ministry officials recent Soviet-Israel and Soviet-Middle East relations.
Diplomatic sources noted that the current visit came during rumors of a tendency toward improvement of Israeli-Russian relations, although official Foreign Office circles denied any indication of such a trend.
