The 9,500-ton “Har Tabor, ” a reparations-pact freighter built for Tel Aviv’s “Tramp Ships, Ltd. ” by West Germany’s largest shipyard and designed to haul 14, 450 tons of bulk cargo, was launched here today. Tramp Ships, Ltd is an affiliate of “El-Yam. “

William Scholz, director of the shipyard, said that the first stage in German ship construction for the Israel reparations account had been concluded with the launching of the Har Tabor. He said El Yam was placing orders outside of reparations channels for four additional 15, 000-ton freighters to be delivered in the years 1960 to 1962.
