A major area of discussion for the delegates will be “Ten Years of American Aid to Israel.” A special luncheon session will hear first-hand reports and analyses on the achievements in Israel during the last decade as well as its future needs. The General Assembly is the annual meeting of the 225 federations, welfare funds and community councils which comprise the CJFWF. As the governing body of the Council, the Assembly will review its activities in 1957 and will determine its policies and programs for 1958. It will also define major Jewish welfare objectives, adopt the 1958 budget and dues schedule and elect officers and board members for the coming year.
