Saudi Arabia Proposes Five-point Anti-israel Plan to United Nations

A five-point program calling not only for the repatriation of all Arab refugees into Israel but also for the virtual dismemberment of the Jewish State and world-wide prohibition of any aid to the Israelis was laid before the General Assembly today by Saudi Arabia.

Ahmad Shukairy, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of State for United Nations Affairs, voiced the proposals before the Assembly’s special political committee. He was the first Arab speaker to address the committee on the subject of Arab refugees which has been on the agenda for a week.

The Saudi Arabian representative’s proposed plan is based on the following points. 1. The repatriation of the Palestine refugees; 2. Prohibition of Jewish immigration into Palestine; 3. Outlawing Zionism; 4. The prohibition of Zionist fund-raising campaigns and 5. The creation of a United Nations agency to help the Jews of Israel to be repatriated to their former homelands.”

Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold announced today that the United States has contributed an additional $12,000,000 and Britain has given an additional $1,000,000 to help meet the 1057 deficit of the United Nations Emergency Force. With these additional contributions. UNEF still faces a $6,000,000 deficit for this year.
