Members of Brazilian Parliament Leave for Israel As Knesset Guests

Eight Brazilians known nationally as representatives of parliamentary and other public activities–including four Senators and four Deputies–left for Israel today. The delegation is headed by Ulysses Guimaraes, president of the Chamber of Deputies.

Invited by Israel’s parliament, this country’s parliamentary group was given a ceremonial send-off at a party last night, attended by Arien Aroch, Israel’s Minister here The party was at the same time a welcome reception to Apolonio Sales, vice-president of the Senate, who has just returned from Israel as the personal representative of President Jucelino Kubitscheck.
