Dr. Miriam K. Freund, national president of Hadassah, today announced the signing of a contract with Kadish Luz, Israel Minister of Agriculture, creating a partnership for the management and development of the Junior Hadassah Children’s Village of Meier Shfeya near Zikhron Ya’acov.
Henceforth the village will be under the control of a joint board of the Ministry of Agriculture and Hadassah. Hadassah has undertaken to contribute the sum of $160,000 to the village’s budget for the five-year period commencing October 1957.
