Several hundred members of the United Nations delegation, leading American Jewish personalities and journalists attended last night the Israel delegation’s annual reception here.
In the receiving line were Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister who had recovered from a slight indisposition, and Ambassador and Mrs. Abba Eban. Except for the Arabs, it appeared that all delegations were represented, some by their chairmen, Among the top ranking diplomats present were Henry Cabot Lodge of the United States delegation; Arkady A. Sobolev of the USSR, and V. K. Krishna Menon of India.
