U.S. Moves to Deny Tax-exempt Status to Group Headed by Rightist

The U.S. Bureau of Internal Revenue moved this week-end to withdraw tax-exemption from an extreme right-wing group, the “Constitution and Free Enterprise Foundation,” headed by Edward A. Rumely. Mr. Rumely is mentioned in a number of Anti-Defamation League reports issued during the Roosevelt and Truman Administrations.
