Confidence that American Jewry will, through the United Jewish Appeal, provide the means for adequate settlement of the immigrants now arriving in Israel from East European countries was expressed last night by Yaacov Herzog, Minister of the Israel Embassy in Washington, at a dinner of the Jewish Welfare Fund here.
