Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, declared here last night on her return from the United States that Israel had gained at the United Nations General Assembly by raising the point that the Suez Canal blockade was a menace not only to Israel but to many Asian and African nations as well.
She also declared, in an airport interview, that Israel had made clear at the Assembly her position that she would not give up her right to passage of cargo and ships via the canal.
