A three-man delegation of British Catholic clergy, headed by Bishop John Barton, arrived in Israel today as guests of the Jewish Agency External Relations Department. The other members of the delegation are Don Bernard Orchard, chairman of the Catholic Bible Association, and the Rev. Reginald Fuller, Association secretary.
The three Catholic leaders, invited to Israel at the suggestion of Dr. Israel Brodie, Chief Rabbi of the British Commonwealth, will tour the country and meet with leaders of Christian communities in Israel. They will also confer with leading Israel Bible scholars and research experts.
