A stadium will be built in Nazareth. Israel, in honor of George Meany, president of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations by Histadrut, it was announced last night at a dinner at the Hotel Roosevelt.

Speaking on behalf of the Histadrut executive committee, Isaiah Avrech stated that the stadium would serve Jews, Christians, and Moslems in Galilee, the mountainous northern district of Israel. Participating in the $250,000 cost of the structure will be the New York Pocketbook and Novelty Workers Union, sponsors of the dinner.
