The Government-owned Kol Israel, the Israeli radio, will go commercial–part time, and for a trial, six-month period–according to a decision by the Cabinet today. A government spokesman explained that the move would be made in an effort to obtain fresh revenue for Israel’s treasury. Commercial programming on the Israel radio will be restricted to a special wave length.
