International Seminap Opens at Hebrew University; U.S. Represented

The eleventh Seminar of the World University opened for two weeks at the Hebrew University here on the theme of “Tradition and Technology in a New Country.” The opening session was addressed by Miss Margaret Meagher, Canadian Ambassador to Israel, Mayor Mordechai Ish-Shalom of Jerusalem and Dr. Benjamin Mazar, president of the University.

The largest delegation is composed of 36 Canadian college students and faculty members. Other nations represented include the United States, Britain, France, Ghana, and West Germany. The participants spent the two weeks before the seminar opening working in collectives.
