Eight hundred members of Hadassah, led by Mrs. Rebecca Shulman, have arrived here for the official dedication August 3 of the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center near Jerusalem.
Correspondents taken on a tour of the center observed last-minute preparations for the ceremony. The $25, 000, 000 structure is complete and ultra-modern equipment is now being installed. Joseph Neufeld, the chief architect, said that the medical center is the largest building in the Middle East and the most mechanized medical structure in the world outside of the United States.
Mrs. Abraham Tulin of Hadassah said that the organization has already collected $15, 000, 000 of the organization’s $22, 000, 000 commitment for the structure.
