Yom Kippur services were held here yesterday for the first time, by English speaking Jewish personnel in this city working for the Joint Distribution Committee, the United Nations and various other international organizations.

The services, held at the American Community House, were enhanced by the new congregation’s possession of its own Holy Scroll. The Torah, a gift of the Jewish Community of Poland, was brought here from Warsaw last week by Charles H. Jordan, JDC director general.
