Mr. Narkiss reported on the trade between the two countries at a reception at the Israel Consulate General for 500 Montreal wholesalers and importers, trade and community leaders, at which the guests sampled a variety of Israeli food products being sold on the Canadian consumer market.

Fresh gladioli were especially flown from Israel by E1,A1 for the reception, at which Israel Consul General Pinhas Eliav, served as host.
