Brazil Urges Jews to Initiate Study on Jewish Contributions to Country

Dr. Marcio Porto, Sao Paulo State Secretary, today appealed to Jewish leaders here to institute a study of the social, cultural and economic contributions of the Jews to Brazilian civilization since the settlement of the country. Dr. Porto made the suggestion in a television interview. He said that, if such a study were carried out, it would be published and distributed by the Government.
