Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization, left for Europe today to confer with European Jewish leaders on a program of accelerated activity in 1962 to provide increased funds for Israel’s economic development.
In conferences with Baron Edmond de Rothschild of France, president of the Israel bond campaign in Europe, and other overseas leaders, Dr. Schwartz will discuss Israel’s plans for large-scale development and settlement of the Negev.
