Three gifts of $100,000 each were announced here today by Irving W. Rabb, chairman of the Beth Israel Hospital development committee. The money was pledged by the family of the late Philip Smith, the Elm Farm Foundation and the family of A.M. Sonnabend. The funds will be used to strengthen the hospital’s services in radiology, the emergency unit, and the eye-ear-nose-throat clinic, he said.
